Department of Management Studies, University School of Management Studies, Rayat Bahra University, in collaboration with Public Relations Council of India (PRCI)-Young Communicators Club organized a panel discussion on the theme 'The Art of Saying No'.

The panelists were Renuka Salwan, Vice-President North PRCI, former Director of Public Relations of Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Dr Sudeep Rawat, Secretary, PRCI Chandigarh, a freelance PR consultant.

The panelists during the discussion underlined that the art of saying no is important for several compelling reasons that span both personal and professional aspects of life. They shared their insights into the strategies of saying no in a way that is respectful, clear, and assertive, helping maintain boundaries and focus

on priorities.

The discussion was moderated by the students of BBA 1st year, Vishal and Kirti. The experts shared their own experiences and how respectfully declining requests had a significant positive impact on both their personal and professional lives.

Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor, RBU, expressed his gratitude to Renuka Salwan and Dr Sudeep Rawat for sharing their valuable insights during the session. He also enlightened the students with his knowledge on the power of saying no. He emphasised the need of saying no and its impact on the mental and social well-being

of students.
