Rayat Bahra University organised a five days faculty development program "Empowering Educators Inspiring Change" under the patronage of Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra.

Bahra said the FDP are integral to the continuous growth and success of teachers, as well as the positive impact on their students. The current era demands adaptive and innovative teaching methods to help students reach their full potential.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh said the program aimed to empower faculty members with the latest teaching methodologies and inspire a paradigm shift in educational practices, focusing on enhancing the learning experience for students in line with the evolving demands of the 21st century.

He said FDPs aim to enhance teaching effectiveness by offering workshops, coaching, and resources designed around the latest educational theories

and pedagogies.

A total of 300 plus participants attended the FDP. The program was organised by Prof Inderpreet Kaur, Dean of USSS)

Prof Inderpreet Kaur said FDPs provide educators with opportunities to engage in peer observations, reflection, and constructive feedback, thus helping them to refine their teaching practices.

She said this continuous growth enables them to keep pace with the ever-changing demands of modern education.
