Come forward to donate


DW BUREAU Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has urged the people who have recovered from the COVID-19 infection to come forward to donate their plasma so that those who are undergoing treatment for this infection can also recover from it quickly. Vij said that only those individuals who continue to remain healthy for atleast 14 days after recovering from the infection can donate their plasma and it is necessary to further ensure that at the time of donation they should be healthy. He said that the plasma which is being collected in plasma banks will be made available in government hospitals only as of now. But in future, if the collection increases, the plasma would be provided in other hospitals too. The Health Minister said that orders have been given to inspect all COVID hospitals in the State. In these hospitals, the availability of medicines, food and other facilities being given to the patients will be inspected. (
