Manohar Lal is making continuous efforts to strengthen the public health infrastructure along with giving priority to public healthcare. Taking a major step in this direction, the Chief Minister will virtually inaugurate 46 health institutions including Anchi Devi Meghraj Jindal Civil Hospital, Siwani in Bhiwani, and a 50-bedded hospital in Karnal during the state level programme to be organized at Yamunanagar on May 11, 2023. Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the Chief Minister will inaugurate 25 Sub Health Centers (SHCs), 6 Primary Health Centers (PHC), 4 Community Health Centers (CHC), 1 Urban Health Center (UHC) and 4 Health and Wellness Centers (HWC) in Fatehabad, Rohtak, Kaithal, Faridabad, Palwal, Sirsa, Panchkula, Charkhi Dadri, Jind, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Gurugram, Narnaul and Kurukshetra districts. These health institutions will play an important role in providing the best health facilities to each and every citizen as well as in further strengthening the health infrastructure. Notably, the state government has done commendable work in the last 8 and a half years to strengthen the health sector. Not only this, the state government has ensured that state-of-the-art facilities are available to all citizens at affordable rates. The present state government has allocated Rs 9647 crore for health, medical education and AYUSH in the budget for the financial year 2023-24 for the expansion of health services.
