Thiruvananthapuram, May 2 : As part of the Aksharavrisksham (Tree of Letters) programme initiated by Kerala's General Education Department for encouraging the creative and intellectual abilities of students, the unique contents by students published in School Wiki portal have now exceeded 50,000.
The School Wiki portal has been developed by Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) and has been made operational during the Covid-19 times and came as a boon for the students.
The contents include stories, poems and articles prepared by students of Class 1 to 12.
K.Anvar Sadath, CEO, KITE said they have made all necessary arrangements including setting-up Helpdesks in all districts.
"All contents which are currently uploaded can be seen at www.schoolwiki.in. Out of these, Poems are over 22000, followed by articles - 19000 and stories - 9000," said Sadath.
In addition to these, KITE has also formulated a new programme titled 'Muthodu Muthu' to telecast selected videos of creative contents of students including pictures in KITE VICTERS channel. For this, the pictures and videos limited to 3 minutes duration have to be sent to them.
